Living-room giving onto the terrace, with original Pompadour marble fireplace in working condition. Boiserie library avec secret trompe-l’oeil door opening onto the sleeping area. Vast pear-wood cupboards at the entrance. Master bed under the original 15th century beams with skylight. Child's corner with additional bed space and roof window. Travertine marble mosaics in the bathroom; vault with steam-bath and showers. There is also an hammam.

Separate kitchen with high-quality appliances. Independent air-conditioning/heating system. Spacious, breezy terrace for private breakfast and dinner, exposed to the South West. View of Roman roofs and the Venerable English College’s 1579 Bell Tower.

Top, third floor without lift (it can be added). Discreet entrance in one of two adjoined palazzetti dated 1467 by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Affairs. They have a prestigious history, having belonged directly to a Pope, as proven by certified papers.

The frescoes on the façade, a masterpiece of exquisite beauty by Polidoro da Caravaggio, who worked with Raphael at the Vatican’s Loggias, depict scenes of Roman history. The second palazzetto features a Moor King, owner of a famous inn, in sgraffiato. Both façades have been thoroughly restaured by the private owners, under the tutelage of the Italian Ministry of Fine Arts. Polidoro da Caravaggio’s drawings and other masterpieces are exposed at the Louvre Museum in Paris, at London’s National Gallery and are part of the British Royal Collection.
